1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the browser storage used by the supplied static Jivarosnnyb website. Cookies are small values that a browser can send to a website’s server. Local storage is a different browser mechanism that keeps information on your device until it is removed. We describe both here so that the privacy controls are understandable without requiring technical knowledge.
The current build does not set HTTP cookies through its JavaScript. It uses one localStorage entry to remember your privacy selection. It contains no advertising pixels, audience measurement scripts, embedded booking widgets or third-party maps. Homepage photographs are loaded from an external image provider, as explained below. The displayed publisher identity is illustrative, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Storage inventory
The inventory below describes storage explicitly implemented by the provided files. “Not used” means that no storage item or supporting tracking script is deployed by this code for that category; it does not conceal a service that runs after acceptance.
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | jivarosnnyb-cookie-choice-v1First-party localStorage | Stores accept or reject, policy version and selection time. Not sent by the script. | Until you replace or delete it, or your browser removes site data. |
| Analytics | None | No visitor analytics or cross-page audience tracking scripts. | Not applicable. |
| Functional | None | No optional language, chat, map or video cookies implemented by this code. | Not applicable. |
A hosting provider could separately apply infrastructure storage or security controls. No website-hosting provider is configured in these files. The external image provider may apply its own delivery and caching controls; any response-set storage must be checked against the deployed service. An operator deploying this site must inspect provider behaviour and update this inventory where necessary.
3. What the banner buttons do
“Accept All” records acceptance and dismisses the banner. Because no optional tracking services are installed, it does not activate analytics or advertising. “Reject Non-Essential” records rejection and leaves only the preference record implemented by this script. Both choices allow full access to the editorial pages.
“Preferences” opens a dialog that identifies the essential entry and shows the unused optional categories. “Save essential only” records rejection of non-essential storage. Closing the dialog without saving leaves your existing choice unchanged. You can reopen the same controls using the button in every page footer.
These buttons do not control the homepage’s image requests. Photographs can load from images.unsplash.com before you make a selection, and rejecting non-essential storage does not prevent those requests. External image delivery and browser caching are distinct from the preference record described in the inventory.
If the browser blocks local storage, the choice applies to the current page only and the banner may return after navigation. This is a storage limitation, not a requirement to accept optional tracking. Any future introduction of optional tracking services must use a new consent version and obtain a fresh choice before those services run.
4. Change or remove your choice
To change your selection, open cookie preferences and save essential-only use. To remove the stored record completely, clear site data for this domain in your browser. This causes the banner to appear again on a later visit. Clearing cookies alone may not remove local storage unless the browser includes website data in the same action.
- Chrome: open Settings, then Privacy and security, and use site settings or site-data controls to find this domain and delete its data.
- Firefox: open Settings, then Privacy & Security, and manage website entries under Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: open Settings, then Privacy, and use Manage Website Data. On mobile devices, look under Safari’s website-data settings.
- Microsoft Edge: use Settings to find cookies and site permissions, then view and remove data for this domain.
Menu labels vary by browser version. Private browsing often removes stored choices when the private session ends. Disabling all site storage will not prevent reading this website, though privacy choices may no longer persist.
5. External images, links and further questions
Homepage photographs are served by Unsplash through images.unsplash.com. The provider receives the network information needed to respond to image requests, including your IP address and request headers. The images use a no-referrer policy, but this does not prevent the image provider from receiving connection information. Provider-side logging, caching and retention are not controlled by this website. See our Privacy Policy and the Unsplash Privacy Policy, opens a new tab for further information.
External booking, map and support links open separate websites with their own storage practices. Those booking, map and support services do not load inside these pages. Review the destination’s notice before accepting its cookies or supplying personal information. Your Jivarosnnyb selection does not transfer to another domain.
Privacy questions may be prepared through our contact page. The illustrative privacy contact is [email protected]; no mailbox or submission service is configured by this static build. Any live deployment must provide working contact details and keep this policy aligned with actual storage behaviour.
