Think beyond the event room
A resort setting can work well for a meeting, celebration or group break because accommodation, meals and leisure time can be organised around one base. At Maestral, the Pržno location adds a coastal atmosphere without requiring every guest to follow the same itinerary. The practical benefit is coordination; the possible drawback is that a single venue’s availability can constrain the whole plan.
Start with your expected guest count, dates, overnight room needs and the purpose of the gathering. Ask the resort to confirm suitable spaces and configurations directly. This guide does not publish unverified capacities, equipment inventories or event packages. A room that suits a seated dinner may have a very different usable capacity for a presentation or reception.
Build an event brief before asking for prices
Describe the event from arrival to departure: registration, meeting sessions, meal breaks, evening arrangements and any private use of space. For business gatherings, specify seating style, presentation equipment, microphones, connectivity needs and whether remote participants will join. Ask what support is on site and what must be hired separately.
For a celebration, clarify the catering format, dietary requirements, music plans, decoration permissions and finish time. Outdoor elements need a credible indoor alternative and a deadline for deciding whether to use it. Request a written quotation separating venue hire, catering, equipment, staffing, accommodation and mandatory charges rather than relying on a single starting price.
Group rooms and individual needs
A group allocation can simplify planning, but its contract may have different deposit and cancellation terms from an individual room booking. Ask when unused rooms must be released, who pays for incidental spending and whether guests can extend their stays at an agreed rate. Make clear whether the organiser or each traveller is responsible for payment.
Collect accessibility and dietary requirements with permission and share only what the resort needs to fulfil them. Do not assume every guest will want late evenings or casino access. A good programme offers an appealing alternative, such as an unhurried dinner or free time, and keeps essential group activities separate from optional adult entertainment.
The casino is optional, not the whole stay
Maestral is a resort with both hotel accommodation and a casino; the casino is not necessary to enjoy its coastal setting. This guide treats it as one optional part of the property rather than a reason to expect financial rewards. We do not provide game instructions, gambling promotions, bonus offers or predictions.
Casino access is adults-only, with a minimum age of 18 and any additional requirements set by the operator and applicable law. Confirm current entry conditions, accepted identification, opening times and dress expectations directly before visiting. Hotel guest status should not be treated as a guarantee of admission or an exemption from identity checks.
Keep entertainment within clear limits
Gambling involves a risk of losing money and is not an income strategy. If you choose to participate, decide in advance on a time limit and an amount you can comfortably lose without affecting accommodation, food, travel or other obligations. Never borrow to gamble or attempt to recover losses by increasing spending.
Alcohol can make it harder to judge spending and time. Take breaks, avoid gambling when distressed, and stop if the activity no longer feels optional. If you have previously experienced gambling-related harm, choosing not to enter the casino is a sensible plan. Ask the operator about available exclusion procedures if you need a firmer boundary.
For independent information and support options, Gambling Therapy, opens a new tab provides resources for people affected by gambling. Support availability and language options should be checked on its website. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Confirm the occasion directly
Event availability and contractual commitments belong with the resort’s own team. Use the official Maestral website, opens a new tab to find current contact and planning information. Our room guide and dining guide can help you prepare questions before requesting a proposal.
